Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Officer Michael Davey of the Weymouth Police Department lost his life on August 24th, 2009 in a tragic accident., while he was working a traffic detail. He left behind three children, James (age 14); Brianna (age 9) and Joseph (age 6) as well as a widow Kathleen. Michael also left behind many family members, friends and colleagues who miss him everyday. In order to keep Michael’s memory alive, we are having a memorial golf tournament and fundraiser on Friday August 27, 2010, to which all of the proceeds will go to a scholarship fund in Michael’s name. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Weymouth High School senior who is going to college for either Criminal Justice or Pre-Law.

 The Golf tournament:

Will be held at South Shore country Club with a 1pm shotgun start $125.00 Per Golfer 144 Players Max No Walk ons Accepted. This includes: Golf-Scramble with Cart, Range Balls and $6.00 Credit to Pro Shop, a small lunch, and entry to the evening event at the Weymouth Elks and raffle held afterwards.

Evening Fundraising event:

Will be held from 7pm until 11pm, at the Elks in Weymouth, with a buffet style dinner, silent auction, raffles, entertainment and much more.

Corporate sponsorships: are available for $100.00 and will have your companies name on a sign in tee-box.
